Highlight your heritage in a fashionable way

The Festival will highlight the contributions of people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. Our celebration of Diversity will feature socio-cultural displays, arts and crafts, parades, dances, fashions shows, ethnic foods and entertainment.

Fashion is the most practical form of artistic expression. In celebration of Abbotsford's amazing diversity, a fashion show is being organized to show case ethnic groups in their native dress. Providing a runway of vibrant participants, we intend to etch visions of color and form that our audience will not soon forget.

Here is an opportunity to showcase your cultural background in the form of presenting your brand of culture through a Fashion Show. Our MC will provide live commentary on each ethnic group, their distinct attire, purpose and function of their garments and how this particular piece fits into their lifestyle.
